We are a family with three children living in Haynes Farm.  Guy has a furniture making business in Bodiam and Clare works locally for an international company.  We bought Haynes Farm in 2006 and spent 2 years converting the old tin-roofed barn into the house where we now live.

Pickle Cottage was formerly the pig shed for the farm.  Over the last two years Guy has designed and built by hand a new oak frame which forms the basis of the building and the oak beams are featured in all the rooms of the house.  

We have tried to design and furnish the cottage to be a place where we would like to stay ourselves and we would like our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed and to find that it is a good base from which to discover the local area.
