Pickle Cottage is in the grounds of Haynes Farm, which is a converted Kentish Barn and traditional oast house.  A large pond provides a picturesque setting.

 

Pickle Cottage has one large double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom equipped with a walk-in shower.  The open plan area in the middle of the cottage comprises a kitchen, dining and living area.

 

Pickle Cottage is fully equipped with all the modern facilities you would expect.   Underfloor heating and a wood burning stove* will keep you warm and comfortable, even in the middle of winter, while French doors lead onto a small deck area  and private garden for enjoying the summer sun.  A Nespresso machine, internet connection, Freeview TV and hair drier ensure that you have all the comforts of home in Pickle Cottage.

 

The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, gas hob, oven, iron and ironing board. 

 

There is off-road parking for your car in a parking area shared with the main house.

Pickle Cottage is in the grounds of Haynes Farm and looks out onto the oast and annexe of the main house.

  

The driveway is owned by the neighbouring farmer and can be very bumpy and potholed, particularly in the winter months.​

 

Pickle Cottage is all on one level so is accessible for wheelchairs, although it is not fully equipped with hand rails in the bathroom.

 

We have a very friendly dog, a Cockapoo called Kate, who is often out in the garden and loves to meet new people.

 

We have a large pond in the garden, which is fenced but there are many ponds nearby.  Small children should be supervised at all times.
